Introducing ... Megan Abigail Randol !!!
We thank you for visiting our website. We are really enjoying our time in California. The range of things to do and climates still amazes us. Below are two pictures from our backyard. The first is December 2004. Nice snow capped mountains to the west of us.
The second picture below is November 2003. The mountain range is to the south of us. This was in the first hours of the fire which raged for seven days and lit up the skies at night. The winds favored us and kept the fire at the ridgeline to the south of us... never entering our valley. At one point 180 degrees of our view was obscured by smoke as two fires merged. We still think that 3 miles is too close for comfort. In the picture you will also see one of the participants in our own version of an air and water show.
